STUDENTS' UNION PARLIAMENTARY POLLS SET TO HOLD TODAY ACROSS THE UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, MAKURDI!!!

The 2016/2017 Students Union elections will go into its first voting phase today, 20th July 2018 with the conduct of parliamentary (SSC)  elections across constituencies of the Union.

The elections according to a report from the electoral committee will begin by 10:00AM at designated polling units and Students are expected to visit their respective polling points to cast their votes and select representatives for the 10th Assembly of the Student's Supreme Council (SSC).

Friday's parliamentary polls are to be followed shortly by Hall Executive Council elections on Saturday,  21st July 2018.

Speaking With The Comr. Abaver led SUEC, they have affirmed their readiness for today's polls and future elections which the electoral body is determined to administer in strict adherence to the constitutional provisions of the Student's Union.

As Makurdians queue up in their numbers to partake in deciding the constitution of the next Students' union parliament, they remain hopeful that their choices will translate into better laws which will protect Students and enable them thrive in their academic sojourn at the University of Agriculture,  Makurdi.
