The Comr. Jeremiah Abaver led Students' Union Electoral Committee (SUEC) has released proceedings for the forth coming 2016/2017 union elections.
The guidlines were published today by the Secretary, Rt. Comr. Ityo David on behalf of the electoral body to inform Aspirants and Makurdians on the framework for the forth coming Parliamentary (SSC & HEC) and Cabinet (SEC) elections.
The electoral process according to the communique began today, Monday 16th July, 2018 with sale of forms for HEC and SSC elections and will concluded with SEC elections on Saturday, 28th July, 2018.
The electoral committee in collaboration with the University Administration will conduct respectively, sale of forms and screening of candidates while the Maiden Manifesto session/Presidential debate will be anchored by Campus gist 'paper on Friday, 27th July, 2018.
Candidates and the electorate are advised to adhere strictly to the guidlines stipulated in other to complement the efforts of the electoral umpire to deliver free, fair and credible elections to the Students' union.
Attached to this communication is a copy of the guidlines and timetable for the 2016/2017 Students' union elections.
