Following the successful conduct of Senatorial elections across constituencies of the union yesterday, the Students union electoral committee (SUEC) will today, 21st July 2018 be conducting Hall Executive Council (HEC) polls to decide the leadership of all hall residences and the off campus students community.
Guildlines for the HEC elections do not differ from those of the parliamentary elections except that voters will only be eligible to vote using their Hostel receipts as means for accreditation in addition to the prior requirements.
Venues for HEC polls will be Common rooms of all hostels while the Students multipurpose building will play host to the off campus election.
The SUEC leadership has affirmed it's devotion to in organising free, fair and credible HEC elections in the beat interest of all Makurdians.
