Ahead of the August 11th 2018 Students Union Presidential rerun, the Rt. Comr. Labar Benjamin led Students Union Electoral Committee (SUEC) has affirmed it's readiness to re-conduct the 2018 elections of the Students Union, UAM.
The Committee has assured Great Makurdians and the public that all logistics will be put in place to ensure a hitch free process as Makurdians prepare to turnout in numbers tomorow, to elect a new President.
The Committee has also released information that Accreditation and voting will begin at 9:00AM prompt in all four (4) polling units.
Previous Polling units used in prior elections will be maintained with two (2) in South core and (2) in North core. The venues named are:
-Convocation square (South core)
-Science lecture theatre (South core)
-Management Lecture theatre (North core)
-New Engineering Lecture theatre (North core)
It is note worthy that Comr. Abaver Jeremiah who led the conduct of the July 28th Cabinet elections as SUEC Chairman was officially relieved of his duties as Chairman today. All roles of the electoral body will henceforth be led by Rt. Comr. Lamar Benjamin who acts in the capacity of Chairman for tomorrow's polls.
Speaking to Students ahead of Saturday's rerun, many registered their anticipation to see who emerges victorious as President elect as they look forward to another union year unfolding.
