The Students Union Electoral Committee (SUEC) following the decision of the Students Union Electoral Panel (SUEP) has scheduled Saturday, 11th August as date for conduct of the Presidential rerun elections.
This information was made public by the Electoral committee Chairman, Comr. Abaver Jeremiah after a joint meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. A. R. Kimbir (Grand Patron, Students Union) who has assured the electoral body of his Administration's support to effectively re-conduct the Presidential polls in a bid to ensure a wholesome transition process for the union.
The polls are to hold by 9:00 AM in four (4) designated venues across campus on Saturday;
-Convocation Square
-Science Lecture Theatre (SLT)
-Management Lecture Theatre (MLT)
-New Engineering Auditorium
Students are encouraged to turn out in mass to participate in the polls on Saturday as all logistic are been put in place towards ensuring a hitch free process.
